Why We Don't Offer Hormone Pellets

At Valor Wellness, we are committed to providing evidence-based, individualized menopause care that aligns with current professional guidelines. We do not offer or insert compounded hormone pellets. The Menopause Society does not recommend compounded bioidentical hormone therapy, including pellet therapy, when FDA-approved hormone therapy options are available.

Pellets also present a unique concern: once inserted, the dose cannot be easily adjusted or discontinued if side effects or excessively high hormone levels occur.

 

Instead, we use hormone therapy options that allow treatment to be carefully individualized, monitored, and adjusted based on each woman's symptoms, health history, response to treatment, and goals.
